There are over 600 MILLION plus and growing active users on Facebook It’s safe to say your ideal audience is on Facebook.Entrepreneurs and businesses of every size have a Facebook Page –and if you don’t, people start thinking you’re “behind the times.”
It is a social networking site enabling people to share information between each other freely on the Internet.

And Facebook don’t like you using your personal profile for business
However with in Facebook you have the option to create great looking pages and these can be used tastefully and for this purpose.
If you have not setup a personal Facebook account it is a simple process. Go to www.facebook.com and sign up just follow through a process it takes only a few minutes.
You will need to set your personal profile up and how you want the world to see you. The settings allow you to keep almost everything private.
Account Settings and Privacy
On the right next to the Home tab is a drop down arrow by clicking on that you get (Account settings and Privacy Settings) click on these to reveal settings options.
The settings allow you to control how your FRIENDS can have input on your Facebook.
Log in to Facebook
Click the button right top (Edit Profile)
A page with all the profile, add picture and general info comes up.
Enter your details along side these edit boxes are an icon when clicked will reveal a drop down selection of how you want that information viewed. (Public, Friends, Only me. Custom)
On the left is the list of pages you can edit.
This is up to you!

One of the first things you will notice is that you can invite friend to be your Facebook friend.
This is the prime function of Facebook Social networking the sharing of information between friends.
These can be organised into categories or lists you have family and acquaintances but there are others lists like the school you went to, you can also create your own lists.

Log into Facebook.
- Click “Account” at the top right corner of your Facebook page.
- Click “Edit Friends.”
- Click the button that says, “+Create a List.”
- Click the images of each person who will be a part of that list. Let’s start with just your friends and relatives.
- When you’ve selected all the people who you consider to be friends and family, go to the box where you see the words “Enter A Name” and start typing the name for this list. For the sake of this exercise, title it “Friends and Family” then click “Create List.”
- You will then see the people you’ve added to that list.
When you want to revisit that list to make any future changes, do this:
- Account – Edit Friends
- Look to the left and click on the name of the list “Friends and Family”
- Add any new people by typing their names into the bar that says “Type a friend’s name to add…”
Easy enough, right?
When inviting friends to your Facebook you need to put them in these lists. Because it will be easier to send specific targeted information to them in the future if you have them in organised lists Simple
Create Page
