Step 5 Master the effective follow up or follow through

Like in golf swing the follow through is extremely important it is where most Network Marketing lose the plot.They continue to sell their Business Opportunity or their product they become hard sell sales people in Network Marketing I have heard this described as being persistence. For me this is harassment!
The problem with this approach is that your future business partner may go into witness protection and refuse to take your calls. How bad is that especially if they are your friends and family they stop rejecting your offer and start rejecting you! Not just now but it could be forever.
A no now is not a no forever it is more than likely a matter of timing.
The effective strategy is to answer questions and educate your client, NOT to sell. The time for selling was at your presentation and the company DVD should have done that. The follow up is the time to help your client to decide on either becoming a business partner or customer or both.


They are looking for answers to their questions! Not a hard sell!

New IBO’s dislike this step because the answer the get may not be what they are expecting and they are trying to close the deal.
They fail to follow through simply because of lack of knowledge. If you can’t follow through then get your Up line involved they will help you to do it simply introduce them to your Buyer and let them answer their questions.
Not following up or following through by answering your potential clients questions is Failure Point 5 (the follow through is up to you)
Another strategy is to get them to come to the next event training, a business meeting, a webinar the more exposures you can get your client in front of the better. It is a process of social closure let them close the deal. It works.

You must remember the word “CHOICE” they always have the right to not do what you do or buy what you sell. The CHOICE is theirs and ownership of the decision must remain with your client their desire not what you desire.

Look the main reasons people do not take up your offer are perceived Timing and skill set. Timing may not be right for them now and a “No” now is not a “No” in the future. Timing will always come right and skill set can be learned. Go back to them and educate them.
